Project Overview

At VOSYN AI, I worked as an Intern as part of a dynamic design team to refine the user interface and experience of an evolving AI platform. My primary goal was to improve the overall usability and design of the platform by collaborating on key design decisions, creating intuitive UI components, and ensuring the best user experience through iterative design and research.

VOSYN AI’s platform required a comprehensive overhaul to enhance its usability and visual design. Key challenges included:

My Approach

  • Collaboration on Design Decisions I worked closely with the senior design team to make informed decisions on the design elements of the platform. This involved active participation in discussions around the look and feel of the interface, ensuring our designs aligned with both the technical constraints and the needs of the end-users.

  • Redesigning Key UI Components A core part of my role involved redesigning buttons, tabs, and widgets from scratch. The goal was to improve the visual hierarchy and make navigation seamless. I focused on making these elements more accessible, visually appealing, and responsive across devices. The redesigned components adhered to modern design principles and enhanced the overall user experience.

  • Conducting Usability Studies As a moderator for usability studies, I facilitated user testing sessions to gather insights on how users interacted with the platform. I planned and executed these studies, ensuring that the tasks and scenarios were aligned with the platform’s most critical features. This allowed us to identify pain points and areas for improvement directly from the users.

  • Analyzing Data & Reporting Findings After the usability study, I organized and analyzed the collected data using affinity diagrams, identifying patterns and categorizing insights. I compiled these findings into a comprehensive report, which highlighted key areas for design iteration and provided actionable recommendations for the next phase of design.

  • Design Iteration Based on the findings from the usability study, I iterated on the initial designs, implementing improvements and addressing the identified issues. This iterative process helped refine the UI components, making the platform more intuitive and user-friendly.
